The enhancements and modifications below are available as of September 9, 2011.
A new report, the Performance Attribution Report, has been added to PortfolioAnalyst Detailed PDF reports. The Performance Attribution report shows how your asset allocation and selection of securities affects your portfolio’s performance when compared to the performance of the S&P 500 Index over a specified time period. This report includes a summary table, line and bar charts, and a scatter plot that shows how you outperformed or underperformed the S&P 500.
Access PortfolioAnalyst in the Report Management menu in Account Management. For more information about the Performance Attribution Report, see the Account Management Users' Guide.
The following enhancements have been added to Activity Statements:
- Concatenate All option for Linked Accounts - A new option called Concatenate All has been added to Activity Statements for linked accounts. If you check this option, an Account Summary section will appear at the top of the statement. For each linked account, the Account Summary section shows the Account ID, Account Alias if there is one, Account Name, Current and Prior Period Net Asset Values (NAV) and the Time-Weighted Return (TWR). In addition, when you select this option, the activity statement for each linked account will appear as separate statements within the same statement. This is different from the Consolidated option, which merges data for all accounts in a single statement.
The Concatenate All option is available for daily and monthly statements, and statements with a custom date range. It is NOT available for annual statements.
- Advisor Fees section - A new section called Advisor Fees has been added to HTML- and PDF-formatted Activity Statements for advisor clients. All advisor fees previously included in the Other Fees section and in Other Fees line items in other statement sections have been moved to this new Advisor Fees section. In addition, the Advisor Fees section has been added to the Customize Statements portion of the Activity Statements page in Account Management.
The following enhancements have been added to Activity Flex Queries:
- A new field called Advisor Fees has been added to the Cash Report section. This field shows any Financial Advisor fees for advisor clients where applicable.
- In the Cash Transactions section, a new value called Advisor Fees has been added to the Type field.
