TWS trading pages come with a default look and feel, which is defined by text and background colors and font, row shading, column order, width and visibility, and other parameters. You may want to customize your pages to hide columns that you don't use, display specific colors or shade alternating rows to improve visibility. You may even want to make certain layout changes on one page, and other changes on another page. Trader Workstations Page Layout Manager allows you to administer and maintain changes to the components of your trading pages so that the trading pages you see when you log in to TWS every morning display only the information you want to see, laid out in a way that is most conducive to your trading productivity.

The cascading design of the page layouts allow you make a change once, and apply it across any number of pages with a single click.

You can make changes to an existing page layout two ways: using the Layout command from the Page menu, or using the Layout Manager command on the Settings menu. The Page menu command automatically opens the layout that is used by the active trading page. The Layout Manager command on the Settings menu presents all page layouts in a list box, from which you can select the one you want to modify. This command also allows you to apply the modified layout to the active trading page, or save the changes to be applied later. The Layout command on the Page menu automatically applies any changes to the active page and to any other pages that use the modified page layout.

NOTE: Whether you use the Page>Layout command or the Settings>Layout Manager command, remember that you are modifying a layout, not a single page.
