The Dividend Editor

Use the Dividend Editor to manually create your own dividend schedule. IB provides an automatic "best guess" dividend payment schedule based on historical data for that asset.

To manually create a dividend schedule

1. Click the Manual radio button. The Auto information remains as a starting point, but you can delete or change any of the information.

To insert or delete a line, right click in the line and select Insert Dividend or Delete Dividend.

2. Modify the Ex-Dividend date, Payment Date or Dividend Amount on any line.

Note that the Dividend Amount is a cash value.

3. Click OK to apply your dividend schedule to the selected asset.
