Action

Describes the action invoked by hot key.

Size

Specifies the order quantity.

Any numeric order size. If left empty, the default order size for the contract/instrument type is used. The default value is set on the Order Defaults screen.

Order Type

Sets the order type for the buy/sell hot key action.

Select an order type from the drop down. If default is left, the default order type set on the Order Defaults screen is used.

Lmt price

Uses the selected price to set the limit price for a Limit, Stop Limit or Limit on Close (LOC) order.

  • Bid

  • Ask

  • Last

  • None - if None, the Order Ticket window opens to allow you to enter a limit price.

(+/- offset)

The limit price offset is the value that will be added to the limit price. The value can be positive or negative.

Any numeric value. If unsigned, the value is positive.

Stop price

The stop trigger price used for Stop and Stop Limit orders.

  • Bid

  • Ask

  • Last

  • None - if None, the Order Ticket window opens to allow you to enter a sto trigger price.

(+/- offset)

The stop price offset is the value that will be added to the stop trigger price. The value can be positive or negative.

Any numeric value. If unsigned, the value is positive.

Trailing amount

For Trailing Stop orders, the amount off the current market price by which you want the stop price to trail.

Any numeric value. Must be positive.

Offset amount

For Relative orders, the amount that will be added to the best bid (for a buy order) and subtracted from the best ask (for a sell order) to create the limit price at which the relative order will be submitted.

Any numeric value. Must be positive.

TIF

The time -in-force, or the defined time over which an order will continue to work.

  • Default - the default order type set on the Order Defaults screen is used.

  • Day

  • GTC

Attached order type

Automatically attaches an order to the primary order.

  • Stop

  • Trailing Stop

  • Bracket

  • Limit

Lmt price

Uses the selected price to set the limit price for an attached auto Limit or the Limit order portion of a Bracket order.

  • Bid

  • Ask

  • Last

  • None - if None, the Order Ticket window opens to allow you to enter a limit price.

The limit price offset is the value that will be added to the limit price. The value can be positive or negative.

Stop type

Identifies the stop type for attached Stop, Trailing Stop and the stop order portion of a Bracket order.

  • Default - the attached order will be sent in as whatever is native on the exchange, either Stop or Stop Limit. If neither are native to the exchange the order will be submitted as a simulated Stop order.

  • Stop

  • Stop Limit

Stop price

The stop trigger price used for Auto Stop and the stop portion of a bracket order.

  • Bid

  • Ask

  • Last

  • None - if None, the Order Ticket window opens to allow you to enter a sto trigger price.

(+/- offset)

The stop price offset is the value that will be added to the stop trigger price. The value can be positive or negative.

Any numeric value. If unsigned, the value is positive.

Stop lmt

The stop-limit price used for attached Stop orders or bracket orders where the primary order type is a stop-limit order.

  • Bid

  • Ask

  • Last

  • None - if None, the stop limit price will be set to 4 ticks away from the stop trigger price.

(+/- offset)

The stop-limit price offset is the value that will be added to the stop-limit price. The value can be positive or negative.

Any numeric value. If unsigned, the value is positive.

Trailing amount

For Trailing Stop orders, the amount off the current market price by which you want the stop price to trail.

Any numeric value. Must be positive.

 

Transmit the order instantaneously

When checked, using the defined hot key combination will result in the order being created and submitted simultaneously without allow you any chance to check parameters and make changes.
